Lily and I went for a longer walk a couple of days ago. The snow was fresh and soft. It was cold but we didn't mind. We made our way to the waterfront. Lily was suddenly very interested in something that I hadn't noticed.
Just a few seconds later I saw this..
It was a peaceful, happy moment.

What a lovely sight!!You are lucky to be so near the river. My special moment today was walking by the Etobicoke Creek with Lorrie and seeing a beautiful Cardinal flitting about startling against the white snow. From there we went to the conservatory and saw the Christmas display of poinsettas.
